BOWIE: AN ORCHESTRAL RENDITION
An icon who's music and legacy reminds people to express themselves freely and embrace the weird and wonderful, The Untold Orchestra fronted by singers Jenna G, Will Jaquet, Ellen Lewis, Jake Fletcher and Ben Lee Smith pay tribute to the legacy of David Bowie.

Two sell out performances at NIAMOS Theatre in October '22 saw Bowie: An Orchestral Rendition debuted in it's full glory. A 25 piece orchestra performed Tom Fripps' arrangements of Bowie songs, including; Moonage Daydream, Oh! You Pretty Things, Rebel Rebel and more.

"From the off this superb 20+ piece band and four vocalists authentically captured the sound of Bowie at various stages of his artistic career. Their enthusiasm was infectious, so much so that several members of the audience felt compelled to join them on stage, before being gently ushered off. They were equally at home with slow numbers and raucous singalongs.
Highly recommended."

In the run up to the performance, producer Heidi Taylor Wood and Finley Odin ran a series of dance workshops for members of the LGBTQIA+ community, focused on exploring the freedom of expression and identity found in Bowie's music and translated into dance.

Out of these workshops, visuals were filmed of the participants performing to the Bowie classic 'Let's Dance' and projected around the orchestra, with the audience joined by Finley - leading the celebration of Bowie's legacy.
